Starting in 1858, the Pierre Peters domain began. At the time the fruit was sold off all to trading businesses. Fast forward to 1919, Camille Peters, the third generation at the time, begun to harvest, handle, and bottle the wine himself. In fact, he was one of the first in the region to do this himself; most growers sold their grapes. After 150 years of maintaining their traditional Blanc de Blanc Champagnes, a rosé was produced in 2009. Grower Champagne producer Pierre Péters has developed an international following as one of the best producers in Côte des Blancs. Today Pierre Peters is one of the largest producers of grower Champagne.

Pierre Peters has taken their iconic Cuvée de Réserve grower Champagne and aged it an extra year on the lees resulting in the 'Oubliee’. "Oublier" translates "to leave behind" in French referencing the extra time taken to produce this bottling. This cuvée originated Pierre Peters desire to prove that long maturation on the lees could contribute just as much to a wine as barrel maturation. The result is an expressive, rich, and creamy Blanc de Blancs paired with the racing acidity and concentration typical of the Réserve wine.

WINE SHIPPING VIA USPS / UPS

The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. 

In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. 

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a current, shippable, physical delivery address. In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
