With a delivery-based online store and Pendleton/OTR bottle shop-tasting room, our love for incredible wine extends throughout the Cincinnati metro and beyond. Help us build community from the inside-out by being a part of the team based at 1206 Broadway.
The team is core to our business and a lot of thought has gone into when and why we need to add a member to the Cru. As small as we are, we think we are mighty, and we all inspire and support each other when needed. Small business means people wear multiple hats. Frankly, we kinda like that here as it keeps us on our toes.
CURRENT OPENINGS
We’re looking for a hospitality-focused person to join our team at Hart & Cru.
Our biggest priority is adding support to our Tasting Room. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, works well as part of a team, and is ready to jump in wherever needed to help deliver a great experience during a busy night.
This position could be part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate and the additional skills they bring to the business.
Hart & Cru is much more than the Tasting Room. Behind the scenes, our team handles e-commerce, nationwide shipping, private events, marketing, wine education, and the day-to-day work of running a growing small business. For the right person, there may be an opportunity to split time between hospitality and back-office work.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Hospitality and service industry experience
• A genuine passion for food and wine
• Strong teamwork and communication
• Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
• Organized and able to multitask
• Weekend availability
• Comfortable lifting 40 lb wine cases
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Adobe Creative Suite

• Private events and customer relationships
You absolutely do not need to check every box. We’re interested in finding the right person first and understanding how their individual skills could fit into Hart & Cru.
COMPENSATION + BENEFITS
• Average total compensation of $30 to $40 per hour, depending on the position, experience, and skill set. Hourly rates vary by role, and Tasting Room compensation includes gratuity.
