Variety: Chardonnay

For eight generations now, the Larmandier family has been breathing life into the Cote de Blanc region in Champagne. The most refreshing aspect to the family's winemaking aesthetic is that they don't aspire to be different, though their aim to make wines without a recipe certainly makes them so. In the Cote de Blanc, Chardonnay is their main medium while chalk is the canvas where they create. The estate farms biodynamically which only accentuates the crisp and clean style their family has become known for in the village of Vertus in the Valle de Marne. 

In the realm of Champagne, 'Terre de Versus' is the creme de la creme. This is a single plot of Chardonnay coming from 'Les Barillers,' planted mid-slope on the hill of Vertus. This doesn't need to be blended as the balance is already complete. This ages on its lees for five years and an additional six months in bottle before release.

WINE SHIPPING VIA USPS / UPS

The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. 

In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. 

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a current, shippable, physical delivery address. In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
