The Reverdy family has been making wine in the village of Verdigny, a commune of Sancerre since the early 17th century. The generation of Hippolyte changed things, which saw an increase in production as the demands for Parisian drinkers were met. Kermit Lynch, the importer for this classic Sancerre maker says Reverdy has since become “the benchmark domaine of our day.” It is said of the family that they live truly like 'paysan', or peasants. They never leave to vacation or travel as the vines are of utmost importance to them; this shows in their wines again and again. 

You won’t find a more benchmark expression of Sancerre. The vines are 30 years old, expressing the clean minerality of what this wine brings to the table. The wine is aged for just 2-3 months on its lees before it’s released in the spring.

WINE SHIPPING VIA USPS / UPS

The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. 

In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. 

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a current, shippable, physical delivery address. In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
