Now onto their fourth generation with force, the Brovia family has come back with more force than ever while making wines that are among the allocated and remain timeless. They have some of the best vineyard sites of Barolo at their fingertips and continue making thoughtful wines in the classic style. Every member of the family plays a part in this historic winemaking entity.
“Villero” has been dubbed the “king of kings” when it comes to the Barolo Crus. It is the name of a single Cru in the zone of Castiglione Falletto with vines planted back in 1961. This is aged in large French oak barrels for two years before its release. Just 5500 bottles are produced a year.
