Jochen Beurer is an ex-Euro BMX champion, and has taken on the role of a wine guru. Seriously, he is one of the most important winemakers in Germany at the moment. Add to this that his winery has been certified biodynamic, and his vineyards come from the region of Swabia, which is actually in Germany, encompassing both Baden and Wurttemberg. The consistency in quality and purity is evident from one wine to the next. He is also a deep thinker beyond the vineyards, always considering how his actions in (and out) of the vineyards will affect the outcome of his wine. Taste any of the varieties he makes; each seems to defy the laws of physics in their concentrated weightlessness.
This wine defines the typical standards of both a light red and a dark rose -- it's Trollinger! Also known as Schiava in northern Italy, this wine deserves a chill making it the perfect addition to the warm months. Having electric acidity and moderate alcohol, this wine makes for long-term drinking.

WINE SHIPPING WITHIN THE UNITED STATES
Hart & Cru is happy to engage the services of a common carrier on behalf of you/the customer. However, upon purchase, ownership of and title to all alcoholic beverages passes from Hart & Cru to you/the buyer in the State of Ohio. In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations lies with the customer. By placing an order on this site and selecting shipping, you authorize Hart & Cru to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.
All ‘Ground Shipping’ orders placed after 12pm on Wednesday will be shipped on Monday the following week in order to avoid bottles being held in non-temperature controlled facilities over the weekend. Orders placed before noon with 2-Day Air selected will be shipped the same day or on the date requested. We are happy to store your order for you until you are able to receive delivery. Please include note specifying desired ship date or reach out to us at thecru@hartandcru.com for any other requests.
The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
All orders will be sent with a 21+ signature as is legally required. The carrier delivering your order will be unable to leave the package on your front door, back porch, etc. without sign-off. Please ensure someone is home to receive. In the event that a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge the purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
