Lamy has been a well-kept secret, but the cat’s outta the bag, and this name is on the rise toward stardom. The domaine, started by father Hubert in 1973, is now helmed by son Olivier, who joined the ranks in 1995, during a time transformation and great growth -increasing from eight to eighteen hectares, planted over twenty appellations – for the winery. Olivier’s time working and tasting elsewhere brought new dimension to the wines. The focus is on Chardonnay, which accounts for 80% of their plantings. Olivier’s are elevated and linear.
