Classically trained cellist turned oenologist, Alice Bouvot is making incredibly heartfelt wines from just 5 hectares of land in the Arbois region of Jura. Starting out with a mere 2 hec under vine, the ambitious winemaker has slowly but surely acquired small plots, gradually increasing her production year after year but never sacrificing quality. Worshiping the sanctity of the terroir, Bouvot believes that her role as both a farmer and winemaker is to "accompany the grape into the bottle with coherence" and nothing else. Completely biodynamic and using no additives in the cellar, Bouvot's wines are, in the true spirit of Jura, vibrant, lively, and made to be enjoyed.
Hand harvested from vines planted in white and grey marl, this wine sees a short maceration with spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass with indigenous yeasts.

We do our best to have all orders placed BEFORE NOON delivered SAME DAY. All orders placed after noon, will be delivered the next day. Cincinnati orders over $150 in certain areas will receive FREE DELIVERY. Delivery distances defined by zip codes. See delivery zones below.

WINE SHIPPING VIA COMMON CARRIER
Hart & Cru is happy to engage the services of a common carrier on behalf of you/the customer. However, upon purchase, ownership of and title to all alcoholic beverages passes from Hart & Cru to you/the buyer in the State of Ohio. In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations lies with the customer. By placing an order on this site and selecting shipping, you authorize Hart & Cru to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.
All ‘Ground Shipping’ orders placed after 12pm on Wednesday will be shipped on Monday the following week in order to avoid bottles being held in non-temperature controlled facilities over the weekend. Orders placed before noon with 2-Day Air selected will be shipped the same day or on the date requested. We are happy to store your order for you until you are able to receive delivery. Please include note specifying desired ship date or reach out to us at thecru@hartandcru.com for any other requests.
The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
All orders will be sent with a 21+ signature as is legally required. The carrier delivering your order will be unable to leave the package on your front door, back porch, etc. without sign-off. Please ensure someone is home to receive. In the event that a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge the purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
