Four friends who met over a decade ago while studying enology at the University of Miguel Hernandez in Alicante (Spain) share a passion and mission to explore the ancient terruño of Spain’s temperate Atlantic coast appellations. It’s all very old-fashioned (and labor-intensive). They scout pristine vines that grow wild – no fancy trellises for this group! No chemicals. No machines or animals, only human hands.

The unique Benje Blanco is a slightly oxidized white wine that the foursome describes as “a high-toned white wine, showing its volcanic terruño with smoky notes wrapped around the orchard fruit core, braced by Atlantic-infused high-elevation acidity.” Meet your natural wine guides: Laura Ramos (Murcia), Jose Martínez (Almansa), Roberto Santana (Canary Islands), and Alfonso Torrente (Ribeira Sacra).

WINE SHIPPING

The cost of shipping varies depending on what shipping option buyer selects as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate UPS shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. 

In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. 

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a current, shippable, physical delivery address. In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
