Sam Bilbro is one of the most up and coming winemakers in California. His wines are purely inspired by his experience working in restaurants alongside many of the great wines of Piedmont. He took his love for the wines of Northwest Italy and began a project in Mendocino County, California. Sam is one of a few growers behind the Seven % Solution project, which looks to expand the range of California wines to include and encourage the cultivation of other varieties.
The Flora & Fauna Rosé 2025 continues the ethos of its predecessors, blending selected hillside parcels with careful farming and a light touch in the cellar. Co‑fermented field blends reflect the growing season and vineyard mix each year, and the wine is made to convey a sense of place and spontaneity. Idlewild’s approach leans toward natural, minimal intervention practices that let the fruit speak for itself and mirror the rhythms of the site.

WINE SHIPPING WITHIN THE UNITED STATES
Hart & Cru is happy to engage the services of a common carrier on behalf of you/the customer. However, upon purchase, ownership of and title to all alcoholic beverages passes from Hart & Cru to you/the buyer in the State of Ohio. In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations lies with the customer. By placing an order on this site and selecting shipping, you authorize Hart & Cru to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.
All ‘Ground Shipping’ orders placed after 12pm on Wednesday will be shipped on Monday the following week in order to avoid bottles being held in non-temperature controlled facilities over the weekend. Orders placed before noon with 2-Day Air selected will be shipped the same day or on the date requested. We are happy to store your order for you until you are able to receive delivery. Please include note specifying desired ship date or reach out to us at thecru@hartandcru.com for any other requests.
The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
All orders will be sent with a 21+ signature as is legally required. The carrier delivering your order will be unable to leave the package on your front door, back porch, etc. without sign-off. Please ensure someone is home to receive. In the event that a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge the purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
