Withers is a recent project started by long time wine enthusiast and collector, Andrew Tow. He has partnered up with David Low as his winemaker, cofounder of our beloved Anthill Farms. The premise of Withers is to create wines from cool-climate sites through Anderson Valley and Sonoma Coast. Inspiration is drawn from many of the best French wine regions, making for complex, balanced wines, while ultimately making something that could be shared proudly with friends. Withers creates single vineyard expressions and blended wines, all expressing a sense of place. “Withers” is an equestrian term for horses and an ode to Andrew’s wife’s passion for horses, as can be seen displayed on all their wine labels.
Peters Vineyard comprises older vines, almost 30 years in age. The site can be found just southwest of Sebastopol, a stone’s throw from the Pacific. Due to its coastal proximity, the Chardonnay benefits from cool fogs and ocean breezes making for a powerful and saline-forward wine not unlike Chablis.

WINE SHIPPING VIA USPS / UPS
The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a current, shippable, physical delivery address. In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
