Founded in 1612 by Capuchin monks, the same monks which adorn the front labels. The Weinbach estate takes its name from the small stream that runs through the property, meaning “the wine brook.” Today, the Faller family continues that legacy from their home in Kaysersberg at the foot of the great Schlossberg hill. Catherine and her sons, Eddy and Theo, continue the legacy as the third and fourth generations respectively. A lesser known grape variety, Sylvaner takes some of the aromatics of Riesling with the structure of a Pinot Gris, a truly beautiful wine to drink.
