Enter Kermit Lynch—he began to import the crus made by the Gang in the 90s. Jean Foillard played a major role in returning Beaujolais to its roots by starting with old vines, eliminating synthetic herbicides or pesticides, harvesting late, rigorously sorting for the healthiest grapes, and using  minimal doses of sulfur or none at all. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\"Côte du Py\" is the famed slope just outside the village of Morgon.
