A Summer Wine Series at Hart & Cru
There are few summer images more envy-inducing than a beach tucked beneath rocky cliffs, fringed with pastel towns and ancient stonework. White and blue umbrellas scatter across the sand. Sunlight dances on the sea. The pace slows, the noise fades, and the wine starts flowing.
While we can't put you on a boat or drop you onto a sunbaked piazza, we can bring the coast to you—one bottle at a time.
This Sunday School series will guide you down the spine of Italy’s eastern and western coasts, exploring wines born just miles from the sea. From the olive-lined hills of the Tuscan coast to the wild charm of Campania and the poetic cliffs of the Marche, we’ll open wines that taste like anchoring in a quiet port town or lingering too long at lunch.
Each class is built around the wines we love—made by people who still treat winemaking like a cultural inheritance. You’ll hear stories of passed-down traditions, seaside meals, and late nights that end with bread torn by hand and pasta devoured with friends.
It’s not just education. It’s a momentary escape.

WINE SHIPPING WITHIN THE UNITED STATES
Hart & Cru is happy to engage the services of a common carrier on behalf of you/the customer. However, upon purchase, ownership of and title to all alcoholic beverages passes from Hart & Cru to you/the buyer in the State of Ohio. In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations lies with the customer. By placing an order on this site and selecting shipping, you authorize Hart & Cru to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.
All ‘Ground Shipping’ orders placed after 12pm on Wednesday will be shipped on Monday the following week in order to avoid bottles being held in non-temperature controlled facilities over the weekend. Orders placed before noon with 2-Day Air selected will be shipped the same day or on the date requested. We are happy to store your order for you until you are able to receive delivery. Please include note specifying desired ship date or reach out to us at thecru@hartandcru.com for any other requests.
The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout.
All orders will be sent with a 21+ signature as is legally required. The carrier delivering your order will be unable to leave the package on your front door, back porch, etc. without sign-off. Please ensure someone is home to receive. In the event that a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge the purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
