Entering into the wine world after deciding to breakaway from his family's construction business in Campania, Guido Marsella decided to settle his estate in Summonte, a high elevation, hilly area in the Avellino DOCG. The estate, which spans around 25 hectares, has dedicated only 8 of those to grapes, most of which are planted with Fiano, but also produces small amounts of wine from the other two primary white grapes of Campania, Falanghina and Greco. Having been raised in the region, Guido set out with a memory of Fiano before mass production lowered its quality, and the goal to create world class wines that would help restore the grape to its former glory and esteem. Practicing organic, all harvesting is carried out by hand to ensure grape quality. 

Greco is Greek in origin, hence the name of this variety. The Greoc is planted to the tufo soils of the village of Avellino. The vines are all estate vines and produce a wine that is evocative of both the warm Mediterranean sunshine and the coastline.

WINE SHIPPING VIA USPS / UPS

The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. 

In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. 

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a current, shippable, physical delivery address. In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
