What an under the radar producer Luigi Gregoletto is. Before his passing in 2021, he had over 70 harvests under his belt. His family dwells in the hills near Valdobbiadene in the region of Veneto. The family has been organically farming vines there since the early 17 century. While many other producers continue to focus on one of the region’s most popular wines–Prosecco, the Gregoletto family also lovingly crafts the almost forgotten variety of Verdiso. They make both still and sparkling versions that age on their fine lees many months before release. 

A fascinating sparkler that joins both the aesthetics of a pet-nat and the Champagne method into this unique fizzy wine. The wine ages for six months on its lees, then its own liqueur is added back to the wine to kickstart its secondary fermentation. You can serve this wine clear, or cloudy by slowly inverting the bottle a couple of times to activate the lees sensation. We say try it the cloudy way.

WINE SHIPPING VIA USPS / UPS

The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. 

In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. 

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a current, shippable, physical delivery address. In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
