Giulia Negri, also nicknamed “Barologirl,” is the quintessential adventurer. Her moniker: “a compass who is aware that she doesn’t know, who wants to understand, and who only wants to continue researching wine.” While she was born in Palermo, lived and studied all over, most notably Burgundy, she returned to Piedmont to take over the estate from her father, Giovanni. At the age of 24, she was heading one of the best Barolo domaines. With her past experience and true love for Burgundy wines, Giulia has directed her Piemontese wines to have a Burgundy style, and remains curious by planting Burgundy varieties as well.  And her family domain is situated at Serradenari, the highest point of Barolo.

This Nebbiolo comes from the production zone of La Morra at an altitude of 500 meters. The wine is aged in both steel and large barrels for 14 months; a “baby Barolo.”

WINE SHIPPING VIA USPS / UPS

The cost of shipping varies depending on which shipping option the buyer selects, as well as destination and number of bottles. The appropriate shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. 

In the case of shipments outside of Ohio, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. 

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a current, shippable, physical delivery address. In the event a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address provided by the purchaser, or after three delivery attempts by the carrier, Hart & Cru reserves the right to charge purchaser the applicable carrier fee for rerouting to an alternative address or re-shipping to the same address.
