The famous wine writer Jancis Robinson has even called out this couple as being \"cult\" status. The vines, which focus on Pinot Noir, are the oldest in Baden. As the couple are specialists of Pinot Noir, by default they know skin contact, and subsequently orange wine (long before it came back into vogue). They were the first in the region to request used barrels for their wine, going very much against the norm. Farming is done biodynamically. The last vintage of their wines was 2023. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePinot Blanc and Pinot Gris come together hailing from vines about 45 years in age, with the aromatic Muller Thurgau making up the rest of the blend. The fruit spends five days on the skins.
