They purchased a five hectare plot named “En Besset” on a stony hillside in northern Beaujolais near the appellations of Saint-Amour and Julienas in 2013. And so began their new endeavor as a force to be reckoned with in a region currently experiencing viticultural renaissance. The granite hillsides are excellent for making a dense and chiseled example of Beaujolais while still remaining fresh and crushable. The brothers are making all the appropriate decisions in keeping their grapes organic, the vineyards biodynamic, and the winery itself sustainable.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThis cuvee is made with whole-cluster fermentation and semi-carbonic maceration.
