The cooperative oversees 94 hectares of vineyard area. Giovanni Ascione of Nanni Copè oversees the winemaking operation. The Upper Belice Corleonese area is particularly well suited to producing high-quality wines. Limestone peaks pop up along the highlands, and Mediterranean breezes keep the vines healthy. These high-altitude vines produce elegant, fresh, drinkable wines. In January, Decanter magazine said “On Sicily, Centopassi is the star.
