She and her husband fell in love with Castell'in Villa in 1967 and purchased the estate the following year, when it was little more than a country property with a single hectare of vines. Today, the estate spans 54 hectares of vineyards woven between olive groves and forest, but Coralia's philosophy has remained remarkably consistent. While many producers embraced international varieties and modern winemaking trends, she doubled down on Sangiovese, patience, and the belief that great Chianti should be defined by elegance, longevity, and a deep connection to place. And yes, you read that right.
