Nada Fiorenzo, Barbaresco "Manzola" 2016Regular price $50.00 Save $-50.00
The Wine Advocate talks about Nada Fiorenzo as “one of those iconic, ‘legacy’ wineries in Barbaresco that has won too many Gambero Rosso Three Glass awards and scored 90+ in Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator too many times to count.” I think this is pretty spectacular as the estate’s vineyard holdings are not very large and only a little wine is produced. The family is based in the commune of Treiso and was founded in the 1960’s. Nada Fiorenzo first got serious recognition in 1987 when Slow Wine took notice of the quality that was produced.
Made with the Nebbiolo grapes picked in the Manzola vineyard, one of the most historic Barbaresco microzones. The wine stays in oak barrels for 24 months and then rest in bottle for 6 months before release.
